My registration is still pending

If your child's registration is still in pending status, or you have not received an email stating your registration has been approved, your registration has not yet been processed by the local program partner (The DeGood Foundation).

This could be due to:

1. Some localities are currently not accepting new registrations due to limited funding, resulting in a waitlist. Our current estimated wait time is 2-4 months, depending on how many children in each locality graduate from the program.
2. If you mailed a registration form, it may have been sent to the wrong, or an outdated address. Forms should be mailed to: The DeGood Foundation 11834 Canon Blvd Suite G-3 Newport News, VA 23606.
3. You submitted a registration for a region that is not covered by the Imagination Library. We cover Newport News, Hampton, Yorktown, Poquoson, Gloucester, Mathews, Williamsburg, James City County, and Isle of Wight. We will do our best to notify you if we receive a form that is not within our coverage area and are unable to process your registration.
4. The child you registered is too told for the program. The Imagination Library provides free books for children from birth up to their fifth birthday.
5. Your registration form was lost in the mail.
6. If you were enrolled at a Sentara hospital, there may be a delay in The DeGood Foundation receiving the completed enrollment forms or you live in a region where the Imagination Library is not available.
7. If you were enrolled at a public library branch, there may be a delay in The DeGood Foundation receiving the completed enrollment forms.
